The Old Khaki AW media event was held at Colour Box studios in Salt River, Cape Town. The collections bold colours were complimented by a fun and vibrant space that exudes creativity. From the decor and furniture to the influential guests, bold creativity was a focal point of the afternoon.
Old Khaki’s Autumn/Winter collection used modern trends in a restructured manner to appeal to their target consumer while holding on to key elements that make up the brand. These key elements are recognized and commended by their local consumer and fulfill the brands vision. This season focussed on using primary colours, in various hues, as a winter statement while reinventing certain key pieces such as their denims, logo t-shirts and accessories. The collection also saw the introduction of various fabrics, textures and silhouettes such as knitwear, puffers and long-length coats and jackets. As a whole the collection hosts an array of bold colours with a few statement pieces amongst some exceptionally crafted basics.
The event catered the perfect balance between entertainment and insight as guests were joined by local dance group ‘Defy Ent.’ that choreographed a live dance routine wearing garments from the latest collection. Media, influencers and content creators were also informed on the collection and it’s inspiration by a panel of strong women that worked behind the scenes to bring the collection to life.
